Lindsey Carlson is an author, Bible teacher, disciple-maker, pastor’s wife, and the mother of five (ages 6-18). She and her husband Kyle have worked in ministry together for twenty years: leading corporate worship together in the Houston area, planting Imprint Community Church (SBC) and building a women’s ministry in Baltimore, Maryland, and now in caring for a local church. Today, they reside in Greenville, Texas where Kyle works as a teaching pastor for Crosspoint Fellowship (SBC).

Lindsey delights in teaching women to grow in their love for God’s word and God’s people.

In her newest book, A Better Encouragement: Trading Self-Help for True Hope, Lindsey aims to help women seek and find a better source of encouragement than the kinds they’re often promised by the multi-billion-dollar self-help industry.

Over the years, Lindsey has also published Growing in Godliness: A Teen Girl’s Guide to Maturity in Christ (Crossway 2019) on the subject of sanctification, contributed a chapter to The Gospel Coalition’s women’s book, Identity Theft: Reclaiming the Truth of Our Identity in Christ (published in 2018), and to The North American Mission Board’s book for pastor’s wives, Five Markers of Healthy Planting Wives (2020). Her writing can be found online at The Gospel Coalition, Desiring God, Risen Motherhood, Christianity Today, True Woman, The Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission and various other contributor sites.

Lindsey is honored to consider invitations to teach or speak at upcoming conferences or events.
